The comparison uses Mailchimp Essentials, the Mailchimp plan closest to what every iynbox plan includes: its published US$ monthly prices (checked November 2026) at about £0.75 to the dollar, plus the 20% VAT UK customers pay on it, so both prices include VAT, using the lower price band when your list falls between two. Questions

Do I need a card to start?

No. Sign up free, confirm your email and you’re in. Your yourbusiness.iynbox.com page goes live straight away, and it’s free for lists under 2,500 people.

Who counts as someone on my list?

Anyone who can get your emails: people who signed up on your page, or who you imported after they agreed to hear from you. When someone unsubscribes or their address stops working, they stop counting straight away, so you never pay for them.

How many emails can I send?

On Starter and Business, 4 emails a month to everyone on your list, which is about one a week. So a list of 2,000 people can send 8,000 emails a month. The free plan includes 5,000 emails a month.

Is any of this extra?

No. The builder, control panel, analytics hub and your iynbox page are on every plan, including Free. The only thing that changes the price is how many people are on your list.

Can I send from my own email address?

Yes, on any paid plan (Starter is £9 a month). Every email shows your business name as the sender and replies go straight to your own email. To send as hello@yourbusiness.co.uk we set it up with you: it’s a few records added to your domain, and it helps your emails land in the inbox.

When does my price change?

Only when your list does. Your plan follows your active contacts, and under 2,500 it stays free. We’ll always tell you before a bill changes.

Will you put adverts in my emails?

No. Business emails never carry sponsors. Sponsors only appear in free editions of writers’ newsletters on iynbox.

Can I bring my existing list?

Yes, by uploading a spreadsheet. Everyone on it must have agreed to hear from you. We check every import before the first send to protect your reputation and everyone else’s.

What if I send more than my plan includes?

Your emails still go out. On Business, extra emails cost £1 per 1,000 and show on your next bill. On Free, we’ll ask you to move to Business once you pass 5,000 emails in a month. We’ll always warn you first.
